After several days of heavy rain Verro MTB Club dived into the deep and full of mud Trosce of Monte Penna! Here are some statistics

Last sunday our Verro MTB Club heroes tried to reach the mystical “Trosce di Monte Malbe” , an enchanted place whose existence has yet to be proven :D… In fact we were not able to reach the Trosce at all: here is the GPS track of the failed attempt along with some statistics … Hope for more luck (and less rain…) next time!

Verro group Alpha left Forca di Presta on saturday and planned to reach Pilato’s Lakes on sunday but get caught in extreme weather conditions near Rifugio Zilioli and, after a sleepless and cold night :D, had to return back on sunday morning while Verro Rescue Group Beta one day trip succeed in both saving group Alfa and reaching the lakes 😀 !!
The GPS track has got a lot of noise in the middle part… Don’t know why: I’ll try to fix GPS settings in the next Verro Trip!
The noise altered the trip statistics: anyway total time and moving time along with elevation stuff should be correct.
A perfect track if you have only 1 hour to go 😀

In the statistics the moving time is almost one hour less than the total time since we had two punctures on the way… 😀

Our Verro Ski Club
just came back from Val d’Isere 2010 ski trip !!!
This week was really amazing and we enjoyed skiing in 70 cm fresh powder after last monday night snow fall (we rented fresh snow ski , also known as “padelloni” 😀 , of course !!)…
Now we’re (almost… :D) ready for real off piste ski ;D
